A guest piece from a new recruit at Bluebird.

Bluebird Creative are a luxury party and event planning team based in Surrey. At the helm are a husband and wife who have recently just employed a sparkling new fledgling. As a guest piece we would love to introduce you to Brienne.

Hello I’m Brienne, yes like the cheese and the letter ‘N’. Aside from having a unique name, I have unusually small feet and I’m a little bit anal about pronunciation.

I am the newest member of the Bluebird Creative team. Being just 19, some of you are probably thinking I have my life completely and utterly planned… but by no means is that the case.

About me

I’m extremely pale.. as in Edward Cullen from Twilight level pale, I have a witches cackle and a mild addiction to ‘Friends’. Although I have spent my grand total of 19 years having grown up in England, I am bilingual German. I have been raised to believe in the undeniable value of hard work and self belief. As well as a hardworking attitude, being dyslexic has in itself made me more resilient in my work ethic. It has taught me to be more relaxed when I approach things as well as seeing things from a slightly different angle, which will all come in handy with Bluebird Creative.

I have a love for all things sparkly and pink which coming from an ice skater is no surprise. I started skating when I was 7 and as a result I have competed in the British Solo championships. We’re very proud to say I’ve done so for the past 5 years and I have a top 5 ranking. More recently I paired up with my ice dance partner and have gone onto international training representing Great Britain. Currently, I am training towards the next season alongside working for Bluebird and I’m very excited for the future.

Why Bluebird?

As well as being a complete skating nerd, I also discovered my creative flare whilst studying textiles and then going on to get a Distinction * at A level for Fashion.

“Knowing my creative background, Lauren invited me out on a shoot and I loved it!”

I love the planning aspect as well as the styling and making everything look beautiful. I’m really looking forward to getting my creative on and working for such a fun, stylish and flexible company.

Can’t wait to hear from you soon! Brienne xx
