This summer you can walk through 19 of the magnificent State Rooms and explore the Palace’s Garden. Each year, Royal Historical Palaces create a special exhibition for the summer opening. This year, to mark The Prince of Wales’ 70th birthday, works of art will be displayed, personally selected by The Prince himself.

Michael Jackson: On The Wall brings together the works of over forty artists, drawn from public and private collections. The King of Pop was one of the most influential cultural figures and his legacy continues into the 21st century. As well as show-stopping art, the exhibition depicts the giant superstar and his impact on the world.

“A star can never die. It just turns into a smile and melts back into the cosmic music, the dance of life.”

The rooftop film events

The Rooftop Film Club offer a unique outdoor experience to view your favourite films in sky high locations. The three locations available this summer are; Shoreditch, Stratford and Peckham. Outdoor cinema is about embracing the world around you, but that doesn’t mean it has to be uncomfortable. The rooftop crew use comfy deckchairs, meaning you can lean back and breathe in those city views under the stars. How luxurious!

LOCATION: Various spots across London.

TICKETS: From £14.95 per person with upgraded packages available. Explore here.

Frida Kahlo’s Wardrobe

The Frida Kahlo’s exhibition presents a collection of personal artefacts and clothing belonging to the iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Locked away for 50 years after her death, this collection has never before been exhibited outside Mexico.
