Gin – we’re in! Celebrating National Gin Week in style.

World Gin Day is Saturday 10th June 2017 but in true fabulous fashion London are celebrating National Gin Week, all week. Not that you really need an excuse to head out for a G&T. At Pearl & Pear we do love gin – check out our dream gin inspired party featured recently with personalised Hendrick’s bottle invites. Any excuse for a refreshing G&T or fun gin cocktail and we’re there. We have scoured the capital, on your behalf for the best ways to take part in National Gin Week- it’s a tough life!

1.The Hoxton – Gin Mare x Ruby Violet Parlour

HOW MUCH TO ATTEND: Free. Just £5 for a cocktail. G&T Ice cream/Sorbet is free!
LOCATION: Shoreditch

2.City of London Distillery

HOW MUCH TO ATTEND: Free. G&T’s are £7.50 and there are experiences and workshops on offer
LOCATION: Just off Fleet Street (22-24 Bride Lane)

3.Gingerline – A Secret Soiree at Juniper Mansion

HOW MUCH TO ATTEND: £52.50 to £70.00 per person depending on the time and date you book
LOCATION: Secret location in London that you find out on the day
ABOUT: This super cool, experiential dining experience returns with a gin twist. Sold out, as per usual however more tickets are due to be released so sign up to their newsletter to find out more.

4.Jimmy Garcia’s BBQ Club Pop-Up

HOW MUCH TO ATTEND: Free. There are 2 areas – downstairs for the walk in BBQ bar starting from £9 and upstairs for the £45 tasting menu
LOCATION: Southbank
ABOUT: There’s an Honesty Bar upstairs serving refreshing gin concoctions, 10-pint beer kegs for the table, ‘good wine’ and ‘great wine’ all against the backdrop of stunning views of the river Thames. BBQ’s cooked at the table.

5.Cocktail Trading Company

HOW MUCH TO ATTEND: Free. Cocktails from £9
ABOUT: There’s a brand new menu launched this week including amazing creative cocktails. see the menu here.

6.Four Thieves, Clapham

ABOUT: An arcade, Crazy golf, Gin yard containing 70 of the world’s best gins and a range of tonics that will allow for roughly 400 different gin and tonic options.

7.The Gibson

LOCATION: Shoreditch

8. The Soho Gin and Tonic Trolley Experience, The Hamyard Hotel

HOW MUCH TO ATTEND: Free. £15 per cocktail
ABOUT: The Soho Hotel has also introduced its very own gin trolley, where guests can enjoy special gin cocktails, incorporating the flavours and botanicals used to produce each of the six gins on offer. Their very own bartender will mix your chosen cocktail right at your table. Available each day from 1-6pm

9.The Gin Bar, at Holborn Dining Room

ABOUT: Relaxed and stylish, the copper-topped Gin Bar at Holborn Dining Room offers London’s largest collection of Gin, featuring over 400 Gins and 30 tonics. Gin lovers can savour a whopping 14,000 possible Gin and tonic pairings from well-known international brands to small-batch and local distillers .

10.Junipalooza London, Gin Festival

HOW MUCH TO ATTEND: £30.00 including tasters
LOCATION:Tobacco Dock
ABOUT: On 10th and 11th June this Gn Festival runs in East London giving you the chance to explore a wide variety of well known and more unusual gins.
