The showcase at Home House was truly spectacular allowing guests to explore the space. The team have wonderfully shared an overview of the whole process, from the creative development, planning as well as the event itself. Showcasing what they do best!
The Velvet Concept
Home House is a Georgian town house with stunning interiors and the perfect canvas for the creative team. They decided to take inspiration from one of the team’s favourite interior decorators and designers, David Hicks, to contrast the venue’s grand interiors.
To bring a magical monochrome botanical theme to life the team chose palms, mirrored and copper finishes. As well as sumptuous fabrics in both the marketing materials and at the event itself.
Velvet collaborated with great partners to host this event including Allouchery Perseval Champagne and Two by Two photography. As well as using great suppliers known throughout the industry the use of social media ensured the event delivered high engagement and got their guests talking.
Using the hashtags #VELVETSHOWCASE and #VELVETFAVES, guests could Instagram or Tweet their favourite photos. By doing so they could be in with a chance of winning two gorgeous cushions from Chloe and Annie.
Last but by no means least… the main event!
Home House was transformed into three gorgeous event spaces. First being a stylish lounge set up in the Parlour as well as the grand space of the Eating Room, where guests danced along to acts such as the show-stopping Vintage 90s.
Finally the outdoor marquee which functioned as a champagne bar and showroom for their Spring / Summer 2017 collection.
In conclusion, Home House provided some tasty cocktails as well as delicious canapés, including baked polenta gnocchi with aged parmesan & truffle oil and mini chorizo scotch eggs with saffron aioli.
