Horan and Rose Charity Dinner

A word from the event planner

“On 23rd June one of the world’s greatest golfers Justin Rose and one of the biggest names in music, Niall Horan co-hosted their second charity dinner. The evening was a roaring success hosting 350 guests at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire. Justin and Niall were incredibly proud to raise money for Cancer Research UK Kids and Teens, a campaign that raises money for research into cancers affecting children and young people. We are very proud to event produce such a prestigious charity event and announce that Horan and Rose has now raised £1.5 million for the charity over the last three years – and the figure is still raising.”

An amazing charity dinner, for an amazing cause

The money raised will help fund vital research projects and clinical trials. An example is the LuDO trial that’s testing a more targeted type of radiotherapy for children with neuroblastoma, which will hopefully reduce the side effects and make the treatment a little easier.

A Midsummer Theme

The concept for this year’s gala dinner took inspiration from a high-end midsummer woodland garden party. The decor included woodland inspired features for the press wall, auction display and DJ booths as well as a dramatic fundraising tree. To complete the look bespoke H & R signs were designed, also real grass formed ‘red carpets’ and oversized pastel tone balloons created a playful, summer festival feel.

A garden party and exclusive concert

Guests were entertained in the dining room which was a magical midsummer nights garden party and concert. Swagging festoon, a woodland stage set, a selection of bespoke wooden tables incorporating trees, moss, fresh herbs, flowers and rustic candles will give the feeling of being outside inside.

A golden guestlist

The midsummer party themed dinner was attended by high profile guests from the world of sport and entertainment. The guestlist included an outstanding gold medal Olympic panel including Justin Rose, Sir Mo Farah and Lord Seb Coe. The evening was hosted by Kirsty Gallacher and spectacular musical entertainment was provided by Niall Horan and his band. A party to remember!
