Boss Babes Brunch

A collection of industry professionals have collaborated to pull off the ultimate girl power brunch. Boss Babes Brunch was brought together by Katie Dean Jewellery, Harlow & Grey, West Elm Bay St. and Rue Magazine.

The Event

All four businesses co-hosted with the focus of bringing women creatives together. The aim was to build a community to share the successes and struggles of being a small business owner.

The Details

The gorgeous pink and gold tablescapes were brought together by Harlow & Grey. The newly launched Wander collection incorporates gold and a light colour palette. For UK buyers these have now become available through Emilie Rose stationery.

The letterpress artists behind Western Editions Erin and Taylor helped with the invites, name cards, and included a punchy ‘TGIF’ print for the gift bags.

What We Loved

Katie Dean jewellery was also incorporated within the table design. Each guests received a stunning ring as part of the Girl Boss collection. Alongside a gold token, a small skincare gift was provided by Angela Caglia.

Known for her dainty LA collections Katie is the motivator behind a girl boss get together.

Since owning your own business is a FULL time job (shout out to all the other entrepreneurs out there!) I started to brainstorm ways that I could incorporate my jewellery events as a place for my guests to bond. I wanted to create somewhat of a sisterhood so that when they leave, they feel that they’ve met some amazing new friends that they can call when they’re in need of help or when they want to do an awesome collab or just need to brainstorm and bounce ideas off of someone they trust.” – Katie Dean

What They Ate

A healthy lunch oozing with greens kept guests fed throughout the event. Quirky wine bottles painted with glamorous golden slogans created the perfect Instagram opportunity.

Recreate the Boss Babes Brunch look with the help of Emilie Rose

Emilie Rose is an online stationery and gift store which offers a range of beautiful products.

Emily designs and makes around half of the products herself and the other half are handpicked items from a variety of sellers from the UK and beyond. This week a brand new announcement confirms that Emily now stocks America’s own Harlow & Grey. Products available now at the Pearl & Pear shop.

Emilie Rose is always expanding and has recently started selling a range of high quality party wear and will be adding a small line of children’s products in 2018. Only starting the brand nearly 3 years ago Emily has flown into success, and the mission is to continue to sell items that will inspire and encourage positivity.
