Home to one of the most impressive collections of Western European paintings in the world, the National Gallery is a spectacular setting for breath-taking events. With over 20 event spaces, the Gallery offers a range of beautiful spaces which can accommodate everything from an inspirational breakfast tour or intimate lunch through to a luxurious drinks reception and dinner.
Enjoying unparalleled views over Trafalgar Square, the Portico Terrace is an extraordinary outdoor space. Boasting an elegant black and white mosaic floor, it is ideal for summer receptions or alfresco dining. With an abundance of light, thanks to its glass ceiling and muted turquoise walls, the adjacent Mosaic Terrace is perfect for a drinks reception or intimate dinner.
The Central Hall is beautifully lit by an elevated glass rooftop and features a stunning marble entrance way which leads up to an intricately decorated ceiling of golden leaves, making it a truly magical setting for dinners and receptions alike. The opulent Wohl Room is the Gallery’s largest event space, boasting majestic green damask walls, lavish gold-framed Venetian Renaissance paintings and a breath-taking glass roof.
Further spaces include Room 30 which features numerous famous Spanish paintings, the Barry Rooms, with its spectacular domed roof, picturesque marble pillars and British portraits, the opulent Yves Saint Laurent Room and magnificent Turner Room.
The National Gallery’s contemporary spaces include Annenberg Court and a 328 seat lecture theatre – a stylish blank canvas ideal for a range of events including press or product launches.
