Banqueting House welcomes back Palace Pearls of Wisdom
Pearl & Pear in partnership with Banqueting House will invite guests and industry professionals to step into a world of event inspiration and information. Throughout every corner guests turn will provide a ‘picture perfect’ moment. They will have the chance to explore the creative world of events through informative skill-based workshops, including calligraphy by The Styled Writing Company and floristry with Philippa Craddock’s team.
As well as workshops, the afternoon will include a sumptuous lunch as well as inspirational talks and discussions. The day will conclude with a networking drinks reception in Banqueting House’s vaults.

As we all know, the event industry is a fast-paced wonderful world however it has also been voted the 5th most stressful job to have. On that note, Palace Pearls of Wisdom will be talking all things wellbeing – focusing on work-life balance, goal setting and reaching those goals. We are incredibly excited to bring together a successful panel of experts in their field.

Jimmy Garcia, The King of Pop-Ups
Jimmy Garcia is known for his incredibly creative catering and must-attend London pop-ups, from igloos on South Bank to cool beaches in Fulham. Jimmy will speak about how to remain creative whilst under intense pressure in your role, as well as discussing managing a fast-growing business.
Holly Clark, International Photographer
Named as one of the top society photographers by Harrods (2018) and the preferred photographer to Historic Royal Palaces, Holly prides herself on providing a truly unique and personal service to her portfolio of clients around the globe. Although, jet setting is an incredible part of the job, Holly will talk about how she manages wellbeing, stress and her work-life balance.
Sarah Kay, Multiple Business Entrepreneur
Sarah has a design background and is passionate about being creative. From her previous successes at Story Events and MASK she has gone on to launch three businesses; The Edit Events, Pearl & Pear as well as Lifting Pretty, celebrated in Cosmopolitan and Women’s Health. Sarah will talk how to juggle your passions alongside reaching your goals.
Anya Hindmarch | An exclusive discussion on business
Anya founded her business in London in 1987 and it has since grown into a global brand with over 30 stores that is stocked in many of the world’s best retail stores, from Bergdorf Goodman in New York to Lane Crawford in Shanghai. The first accessories designer to hold an on-schedule London Fashion Week show, Anya Hindmarch has become renowned for its production and creativity. Chubby Cloud was her latest installation prior to the Weave Project in which the world’s largest beanbag was installed under the magnificent Rubens ceiling at Banqueting House in London and served as the location for a series of talks, meditations, music and bedtime stories that customers could book into.
