The inspiration behind Crowns and Croissants was to showcase to potential clients how the New Armories can be used for daytime events. HRP wanted to show how versatile the space is as well as how well it works for an entire range of events.
The venue teamed up with Event Concept and Ampersand Events. Together they transformed the space into a welcoming meeting space. As well as a stunning room layout, interactive food stations were used alongside gorgeous floristry. This showcased perfectly how to create a welcoming reception to your guests.
WildGoose showed guests different team building activities. They showcased options from table top games to interactive team treasure hunts. For this they utilised the whole Tower site, showing a different way for guests to explore.
A private tour
Before the famous fortress opened to the public, guests were granted exclusive access. To commence the morning guests went on a private Yeoman Warder tour and viewing of the world-famous Crown Jewels. Something spectacular that is highly recommended!
Breakfast is served
Guests were then led to the New Armouries, to enjoy a delicious breakfast menu courtesy of caterers Ampersand Events. The fresh and vibrant breakfast menu included on-trend healthy options such as customisable porridge and yoghurt. One of our favourites was the build-your-own breakfast station themed as a “toast to the new year”.
The food was displayed on custom built stalls by Event Concept, draped in gorgeous tropical leaves and hanging light pendants – they were very instagrammable! Event Concept also provided stunning staging, backdrops, AV and decor which transformed the Banqueting Suite.
The challenge is on!
The morning was rounded off with a demonstration by teambuilding experts WildGoose. The team invited guests to try their hand at the ‘Tower Challenge’, showcasing their enhancement of daytime events by immersing guests in the Tower’s history and encouraging team bonding.
